MapmyIndia , the navigation based firm in India launched its 3D navigation based device christened “Zx250 ” in Auto expo today. Zx250 is said to be India’s first portable 3D navigator. which offers an augmented reality-like experience with full 3D landmarks, 3D buildings and 3D elevation across hills and mountains, besides house-level search, built-in city and travel guides, detailed trip computer and of course apart from turn-by-turn voice instructions
Zx250 has a stylish curved design with attractive metallic grey finish and a 12.7 cm touch screen. The device has a music player, movie player and digital photo frame with in-built memory of 2GB and expandable SD card memory slot of 8GB. It wirelessly streams both music and navigation instructions to the car audio system over a user chosen FM frequency. It connects with a phone over blue tooth, enabling hands-free calling. It also has an ambient light sensor, automatically adjusting screen brightness according to surroundings. There’s an AV-in slot to connect a reverse camera.
Zx250 is powered by Aura, MapmyIndia’s latest full-featured 3D navigation software which offers an augmented reality-like experience with full 3D landmarks, 3D buildings and 3D elevation across hills and mountains, besides house-level search, built-in city and travel guides, detailed trip computer and of course, turn-by-turn voice instructions.
Zx250 will have the latest MapmyIndia Maps v7.0 including Premium Content which offers unprecedented map details covering house-level maps for 36 cities, 20 cities in full 3D, over 6.3 million places, 3D landmarks across India, street-level maps for 4000 cities and all 5,76,000 towns and villages connected seamlessly via 1.79 million km of highway and road network.
