The post title may seem to be exaggerated ,but it t is a claim being made by Robert Kyncl, YouTube’s head of content. He further revealed in the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that December last year has seen 700,000 Android activated per day.
According to the United Nations, around 300,000 babies are born worldwide every day.Kyncl joked that Google would now have to look for customers on other planets.With more and more mobile handset manufacturers launching Android handsets, it seems that the number of activations will be high for a while yet. Many manufacturers at CES 2012 had new Android handsets and tablet devices on show.Microsoft and Nokia are attempting to rival Google’s Android operating system with a range of phones powered by Windows Phone 7. At CES, the two companies confirmed the forthcoming Lumia 900 – a larger sibling of the Lumia 800, which was launched in Britain last year
However even if statement may seem little exaggerated there is no denying the fact that Android are the most popular mobiles at present ,way ahead of Nokia and competing with Apple.
