Nokia Plans to Launch Nokia 700 ,701 Around Festival Season in India

For festival season in India ,Nokia plans to gift Symbian lovers with its two high end models . Nokia has declared through its official Twitter page that it has started shipping its 700 and 701 mobile phones. The devices were expected to arrive in India in October, but now might hit shelves in the country before the month ends. So, far, there’s been no news about when the Nokia 600 will arrive.

Nokia informed  about the launch of devices couple of week back ,but it seems they have pushed up the schedule and plan to launch it in October month only. All these phones would be running an even more updated version of Symbian called “Belle”.

According to the tweet, various retailers are going to receive the said mobile phones within some days. Measuring only 110mm x 50.7mm x 9.7mm and weighing 96g, the Nokia 700 is said to be one of the smallest smartphones. Powered by a 1Ghz processor, it embeds a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen ClearBlack display. The handset features 2GB of internal memory which is capable of being expanded up to 34GB via microSD cards. It comes with single-tap NFC sharing and pairing capabilities. The latest smartphone equips a 5MP full focus camera with LED flash and enables video capture in HD.

Nokia 701 has a 3.5 inch In Plane Switching LCD display with Clear Back technology, protected by a Gorilla Glass. The handset comes with a new graphics processor which will have four times the graphics memory in comparison to older Symbian handsets.

Along with this, the device features a 1 GHz processor to give the best performance for Symbian Belle. Other features include an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, a front facing VGA camera that supports video calling, which has an in built Near Field Communications chip. The phone’s memory is 8 GB but it can be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro SD memory card.

The prices are yet not confirmed but if bloggers  across are believed Nokia 700 would be priced at Rs17,000 and Nokia 701 around Rs19,000
